General Hospital Recap: Mystery Man, Sad News, Outback’s New Home
A Mystery To Solve About A Mystery Man
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) updated Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about the details of John Doe’s car accident. She was shocked that there was no license or registration, while he was in disbelief that it was Nathan, since Nathan was dead.
Anna reminded him that they had the same thoughts about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and believed that these two returns were not mere coincidences.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was taken aback by the appearance of their new patient, and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) mentioned he wasn’t sure if it was truly Nathan. “
At this moment, he is just a patient needing medical care,” he told the nurse; “We will sort out the rest later.” (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)
Mystery Man Matches
An officer showed up, and Anna assigned him to take the man’s fingerprints and a blood sample back to the station for comparison with Nathan’s.
Lucas didn’t have any news on Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) condition, and Dante recommended speaking to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), but Anna preferred to keep this under wraps until they had more information.
Anna thought she should interrogate Britt, and Dante was amazed at the absurdity of the situation. “No, it’s not absurd, when you think about the fact that Nathan and Britt are the offspring of Liesl and Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).”
Dante suggested calling the WSB , but Anna then received a call and stated that, based on the PCPD database, the John Doe is Nathan West.
Mothers Meeting
Across town, Britt walked into Bobbie’s and made eye contact with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr); after a brief moment of awkwardness, he expressed his happiness to finally meet her.
Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) introduced herself, and Britt remarked on how much they had both changed. After checking that he was alright, Charlotte stepped outside to wait for their mom; when Rocco found out Britt was on MyFace, he mentioned he would accept her friend request.
Britt offered to answer any questions he might have about her, but he decided to wait because his mom was coming to pick him up. Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) was pleased that Charlotte informed her Britt was inside with Rocco.
When he came out, she attempted to ask about Britt, but Rocco was eager to go home.
Britt Westbourne Vs. Lulu Spencer
Britt came back to her room at Bobbie’s and found a package on the bed; she was shocked by what was inside and quickly hid it when Lulu knocked on the door.
Lulu wanted to set some rules to protect her son since he wants to get to know Britt, his surrogate birth mother. “Who do you think you are trying to set ‘rules’ about when and how I see my son?” Britt asked, annoyed.
Lulu angrily reminded Britt that she wasn’t Rocco’s mother, Britt countered that she carried Rocco for nine months, gave birth to him, and raised him for a year.
They then argued again about Britt taking Dante and Lulu’s embryo, and Britt insisted that she would have a relationship with Rocco no matter what Lulu said.
Mom Vs. Mom Continues …
After calling Britt “just a test tube”, still angry, Lulu regretted believing that Britt had improved, goading her about making her mother think she was dead for years.
Britt enjoyed seeing Lulu so upset, happily vowing to share many baby stories with Rocco. As she left in a huff, Lulu warned her to keep away from Rocco, and Britt yelled, “His name is Ben!”
She then slammed the door behind her. She then opened the package of vials again and nervously glanced at a note that said, “Don’t forget to take your medicine,” signed with a “C.”
Michael Quartermaine Delivers Sad News To His Parents
Meanwhile, GH recaps for Monday’s show note that Michael informed Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about the death of his grandmother, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson).
He confessed that he was still somewhat in shock and shared that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had gone to check on her and discovered she had passed away in her sleep.
Michael received a call from the funeral home and expressed his frustration about all the arrangements that needed to be made. His parents encouraged him to take time to mourn and allowing them to support him.
During dinner, Michael recalled how he and Monica had often discussed the custody battle from his childhood. He told Sonny and Carly that she eventually accepted that they might not have completely ruined his life; they then raised their glasses in a toast to Monica.
Gio Palmieri & Emma Scorpio-Drake – Interrupted!
Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruener) and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) were still sharing a kiss when Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) walked in on them.
She apologized for the interruption, saying she was searching for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Cody arrived, and Brook Lynn sadly told everyone about Monica’s death.
Cody inquired about Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and Brook Lynn mentioned that she had been surprisingly strong, but had lost someone very dear to her.
Outback Has A New Home
As Cody bid a heartfelt farewell to Outback, Brook Lynn suddenly proposed that since Rocco lives here part-time, they could ask him if he would allow the dog to stay full-time.
Cody said the Quartermaine rule was he couldn’t have any pets. Brook Lynn said that if a Q established the no pets rule, a Q could also change it.
A quick call to Rocco confirmed it. Emma and Gio departed, and Cody remarked that this new setup could benefit Brook Lynn as well. Since Gio would be around more frequently, visiting Outback with Emma, she would see her son more often.
Molly Lansing-Davis Confesses Her Feelings For Cody Bell
General Hospital recaps for the September 22 episode state that Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) met with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for coffee and shared the news about Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and her plot.
She had paid Cody to charm Ava Jerome (Maura West) away from Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst). Molly then confessed her feelings for Cody. Alexis wasn’t really surprised by this revelation, and Molly reflected that even with Cody’s wild behavior, he has a good heart.
Alexis pointed out that Molly still seemed unsure, and Molly expressed her concern that if she pursued a relationship with him, she might regret it later. Alexis encouraged her to take the chance, and Molly hesitantly agreed that she could be right.
