Gio kisses Emma as the misunderstanding clears
At Sonny’s gym, Emma is taken aback when Gio reveals he’s moving out to live with Sonny. It makes Emma question things, especially after their recent kiss.
They get interrupted by Trina. Later, Emma and Gio talk again and finally clear the air. They both confess their feelings and share another kiss.
Britt blackmails Joss
At the hospital, Britt threatens to expose Joss as a WSB agent unless she gets a room at the Metro Court. Jack arrives just in time to interrupt, sending Britt scurrying away.
Joss tells Jack about Britt’s blackmail attempt, so later Jack warns Britt that her involvement with the Five Poppies could violate international law.
He gives her a chance to stay out of prison if she keeps quiet. Meanwhile, Jack assigns Joss a new undercover mission. Then, Carly later finds Joss in tears, learning that her boyfriend Vaughn was a WSB agent all along.
Portia and Curtis confront Drew
At the hospital, Portia hides her positive pregnancy test just as Curtis walks in. He reveals his theory that Drew has lost the blackmail material he used to control them.
When they confront Drew, he insists he can still ruin Portia’s career, but she challenges him to do it. After Curtis and Portia leave, Curtis concludes that Drew has no leverage left and later tells Portia she can file for divorce.
Carly questions Liz
Carly visits Liz to ask what she told the police about overhearing her threat against Drew. Liz assures her the police haven’t reached out, suggesting they have another suspect in mind.
Liz immediately deduces that the suspect is Michael. Carly denies it, but Liz asks her to have faith in Anna’s investigation.
After a plumber’s call briefly pulls Liz away, Carly moves from the kitchen to the couch. When Liz returns, Carly quickly makes an exit.
Anna hits a snag in the investigation
At the Quartermaine home, Anna and Chase attempt to execute a search warrant, only for Ronnie to point out that the address is wrong. Anna reluctantly pulls back, vowing to return with the correct paperwork.
Jason thanks Ronnie for the heads-up and assures her she’s family now, despite Tracy’s protests.
Later, when Anna and Chase return with the right warrant, they find Edward’s gun missing — the very weapon suspected in Drew’s shooting. Anna fears that Jason may have destroyed the evidence to protect Michael.
Drew tries to frame Michael as the shooter
Back in his hospital room, Drew meets with Martin, who tells him the blackmail evidence from his safe has disappeared.
He realizes the shooter must have taken it, narrowing the suspects to Curtis or Portia. However, Drew instructs Martin not to go to the police. He insists that Michael must take the fall for the shooting to secure Willow’s custody of the children.
