General Hospital Spoilers: Willow accuses Drew of two crimes right after sentencing, PC in chaos
As General Hospital neared the end of Willow’s trial for shooting her estranged fiancé-turned-difficult husband in the climactic of the ABC soap (recapped here), the drama was actually just beginning.
Before the day was done, you see, Trina and Kai had found out that Wiley’s telltale ringtone (more on that here) — which they’d heard on the night in question — belonged to none other than the accused: Willow.

When is the guilty party on a soap ever the one who stands trial, right?
Truth or Consequences
What will the young sweethearts do with the damning information? On one hand, their consciences will surely push them to reveal what they know, lest someone else have the crime pinned on them. (Michael is looking hella sus after Alexis’ fancy footwork in court.)
On the other hand, both Trina and Kai might agree that Drew, with his long, long list of misdeeds, only got what was coming to him. Congressman Cutthroat did blackmail her parents, hastening the demise of their marriage, and Kai’s blind faith in the sleazy politician cost him the woman he loves (at least temporarily).
The Best Is Yet to Come… or Is It the Worst?
Whatever goes down in the week-ending January 9 episode (read spoilers here), it’s by no means the end of the line for Willow.
In fact, Katelyn MacMullen — who recently told Soaps.com that her character would probably empathize a lot more with evil twin sister Nelle now (read the interview) — divulged to Soap Opera Digest that when General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini revealed that her alter ego had done the deed, he also said, “You’re going to have some really fun stuff to play with.”
That’s putting it mildly. And the roller coaster ain’t slowing down anytime soon, either. As headwriters Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten hinted to TV Insider, the outcome of Willow’s trial “will reverberate for years to come.” Count us in.
We love a good reverberation! Heck, we can just imagine Drew and his bride being stuck in a War of the Roses type marriage as penance for their sins… until, that is, Brook Lynn pulls the plug on her and Chase’s future and sets him free to be with his ex!
