Farewell, Marco? General Hospital Just Left Little Doubt About His Tragic Fate
Ah, the things we do for love. There was a time we’d just about written General Hospital‘s Marco off as irredeemable for poor Lucas. He seemed way too into his dad’s villainous schemes to be worthwhile. But then he went and teamed up with Lucas to try getting Britt’s medicine from Sidwell and Cullum and give her a way to survive escaping their grasp.

He’s been taking a huge risk to get his hands on those vials and on Thursday, Marco finally did it. He swiped two vials from the safe — and Pascal promptly went running to Cullum to tattle. And by the end of Friday’s episode, it was clear how serious those consequences would be.
If Sidwell were the only villain behind this scheme, we’d be breathing a lot easier. Just Wednesday, Marco told Lucas that while his father would be furious, the worst he’d do would be to disown his son. Sidwell would never hurt him. He even reminded his beau of that when he handed the vials over. Sidwell would protect Marco were this ever discovered.
And maybe he’d try, but Cullum made clear to Pascal that he’d take care of the missing vials. And then at the end of the week, he surprised Marco at the office, gun behind his back…

Marco’s not dead yet, but the show has clearly been setting up for something big with all of his talk about how he’d be fine. Because in the end, Sidwell can’t stop what he doesn’t know about. Maybe if Jason had pulled the trigger and put Cullum down when he’d had the chance, Marco could have survived. But he didn’t.
Now it looks like Cullum has a plan to put Jason in prison and get rid of Sidwell’s betraying son, all in one go. Marco is about to pay the price for doing the right thing. But then, that’s the way it goes more often than not in Port Charles. Because if there’s any doubt left, next week’s spoilers wipe that out as Alexis is about to discover something gruesome.
