Isaiah may never perform surgery again, and Portia knows time is running out. Swallowing her pride, she turns to Tracy and Brook Lynn Quartermaine for help securing another qualified surgeon.

But what should have been a straightforward plea for assistance quickly becomes painfully awkward because Brook Lynn is secretly drowning in guilt.

The truth behind the hit-and-run accident continues to haunt everyone involved. Curtis wrongly believed Isaiah was responsible for fleeing the scene, leading to the brutal altercation that destroyed Isaiah’s career.

However, all signs now point toward Brook Lynn being the actual driver.

As Portia tearfully discusses Derek’s worsening condition and Isaiah’s ruined future, Brook Lynn sits there silently realizing that her own secret may have triggered this entire nightmare.

Tracy, meanwhile, goes into full damage-control mode. Protecting the Quartermaine family name matters more to her than justice, and she is determined to keep Brook Lynn from confessing at any cost.

But secrets never stay buried in Port Charles for long. Michael Corinthos begins connecting the dots after hearing Curtis explain the details surrounding the accident and the paint left behind on the guardrail.
