General Hospital Spoilers: Danny Runs Away with Charlotte – Teens Rebel Against Absentee Dads?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) could take off from Port Charles together if they start to resent their absentee fathers.

General Hospital Spoilers: Danny Runs Away with Charlotte, Teens Rebel Against Absentee Dads?

Charlotte has a dad who’s an escaped fugitive from the WSB prison, Steinmauer, who seems more interested in his romance with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) at the moment than heading on the run with her.

Meanwhile, for the umpteenth time, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is abandoning his son to play hero for someone other than Danny.

During the Wednesday, March 18 episode, Danny seemed perfectly fine with Jason heading out of town to protect Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thieabaud).

While Danny wanted to go with Jason, his father wished he could, but the danger was too great.

Danny noted that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) would’ve supported Jason’s decision to head out on a dire mission and leave his son behind, but General Hospital fans know much better.

Sam had an issue with Jason even being in Danny’s life when he first returned because of reckless decisions like this one.

With that said, Danny is slated to move to Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house while Jason is gone (something Sam would be relieved about), which sounds like a good idea at first, until reality hits.

General Hospital Tuesday Recap: Charlotte and Danny Confess

The truth is, Alexis is far firmer in her parenting than easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy, Jason.

Jason is very hands-off where Danny is concerned and only intervenes if the teen has crossed a line or asks for guidance.

Alexis seems a little more like a micro-manager, and it may be hard for Danny to adjust to all the new rules.

Will he rebel? Could the two clash and fight? Alexis loves Danny, and vice versa, but there’s sure to be growing pains during this transition.

Then, across town, Danny’s ‘friend’ (who is a little more than a friend), Charlotte, is dealing with her own absentee dad.

Charlotte loves her Papa, and much like Jason, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is a good dad, but he’s abandoned his daughter often in the past.

He’s had no issues just dropping her off at boarding school, and thanks to his WSB activities, he landed in Steinmauer.

He’s now hiding in Carly’s attic, which has turned into a bit of a blessing as no one suspects he’s there, and Cary is Charlotte’s aunt, so she’s been able to visit him frequently.

Still, what happens if Charlotte realizes that something is going on between Carly and Valentin?

Will she be happy, as Carly is “cool,” or will she resent the fact that her father has lost his focus in this mission thanks to his new love interest?

Charlotte has been hot and cold with Valentin’s romantic interests in the past.

Danny and Charlotte have bonded, but will their daddy issues make them realize they are done following their father’s rules?

Will the twosome decide to blow the Port Charles popsicle stand and head out on the run?

Charlotte is well versed in being a nomad, and in some ways, almost prefers life on the road.

Meanwhile, Danny may be fed up with his father always leaving him and decide to give him a taste of his own medicine.

In addition, both Danny and Charlotte have major problems with following the rules, so will this also be an act of rebellion against Alexis and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) for being so ‘strict’ with them?

These kids can be quite crafty but are sure to land in some sort of danger if they are left to their own devices.

Not to mention the fact that their parents, guardians, and loved ones will be fraught with worry!

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Charlotte and Danny running away would flip PC upside down and could land the teens in a ton of trouble, so fans will have to tune in to see if this storyline prediction ends up coming to fruition.
