General Hospital Spoilers: Rocco is no longer Lulu’s son, accepts Britt as his mother

Finn Carr, who plays Rocco on General Hospital, recently shared his thoughts on what turns his character’s relationship with his mother, Lulu, will take after Britt’s return in the show.

For those unfamiliar, it was previously revealed that Britt is Rocco’s biological mother, as she stole the embryo that belonged to Lulu and Dante.

Since this fact was kept hidden from Rocco, he perceived it as a form of betrayal by his parents.

Now that Kelly Thiebaud’s Britt, who was presumed dead, has returned, Carr explains how her comeback will impact Lulu and Rocco’s dynamic.

Finn Carr thinks Lulu will remain a mother figure to Rocco despite Britt’s General Hospital return

In conversation  Carr admits that Rocco’s developing relationship with Britt has caused tensions in his and Lulu’s bond. However, he thinks that Lulu has nothing to worry about, given he continues to perceive her as a mother figure.

“I’ve been playing it as Rocco purely just wanting to know more information [about Britt]. There has been some tension with Rocco and Lulu, definitely, but I don’t think Rocco is seeing her as any less his mom.

I don’t think him being curious is a telltale sign that he’s going to favor Britt, or start to favor Britt more than Lulu or anything like that.”

He reassured fans that one thing he’s certain of is that Rocco doesn’t intend to play the favoritism game.

General Hospital Fans Think Rocco Is Britt's Son & Not Lulu's

Just because he’s getting to know Britt better doesn’t mean he doesn’t view Lulu as his mom. However, he remains unsure of what turn the story will take upon Britt’s return.

He said, “I don’t think the fans need to be worried about any of that happening! I don’t know what’s going to happen when Rocco finally meets Britt, but so far, as of right now, I don’t think he’s going to be wanting to think of her as his mom or think of himself as Britt’s son.”
