General Hospital Spoilers: Willow cooperate with Scout, Drew agrees to let Willow be Scout’s guardian
‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that there may be some hope for Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) redemption after all.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Saw Scout Needed Her Family On Christmas
After the disaster that occurred at Willow’s trial the other day, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) callously informed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that she wouldn’t be allowed to see Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) during Christmas.
However, Willow saw that Scout was despondent, sad, and lonely with Drew and realized that what Drew did was wrong.
She told Drew that while Scout loved her daddy, she was missing her late mother, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), and that all Scout really wanted for Christmas was to see her grandmother and aunts.

Alexis, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), and Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) are the only remaining links Scout has left to her mother.
Willow, who never shows any sign of having an actual mind of her own, finally spoke up and told Drew the truth. For the first time since she stood up for Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) back when she was a schoolteacher, Willow finally did something right.
Willow advocated for Scout when Drew was acting like a jerk. It may only be a small victory after a long line of Willow’s mistakes, but it’s a positive start.

It showed that she had some compassion, and even Willow could recognize that Drew was in the wrong. She knew Alexis had done her best in court, and that Drew wasn’t only punishing Alexis, but also Scout, which is entirely unacceptable.
We’ll have to wait to see if Willow finally sees Drew for the filth that he is. She’s definitely made many poor decisions in the name of what she believes is love.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow May Be Starting to See the Truth About Drew
The incident with Scout demonstrated Willow’s sense of compassion and her potential to change, but we won’t get ahead of ourselves here.
Willow still needs to break up with Drew once and for all and seek help for her past trauma, which has led to her perpetual cult-like mindset.

She has a lot of work to do before she should be permitted to have a relationship with her children, whom she placed in a very unstable and unhealthy situation by moving them in with Drew while Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was recovering in a burn unit.
That, of course, was after she cheated on her husband with his uncle. Yet, crazier stuff has happened on GH besides the redemption of characters whom we fully believed were irredeemable.
Willow’s words seemed to move Drew, and it may be that Willow is the only person he’d ever listen to. Drew’s motivation for keeping Scout from her family is purely selfish.

If Drew doesn’t get his way, he punishes everyone around him. Even if that person is his own daughter, Scout, whom he claims to love. Willow may be starting to see the truth about who Drew really is.
What Willow did for Scout was wonderful and a step in the right direction. Yet, we’re unsure of whether it was simply a nice, soapy “Christmas miracle” or an actual move toward transformation. Whatever the case, true redemption may not be totally out of Willow’s grasp.
