GH Spoilers: Carly Blames Britt For Jason’s Demise, Vows Revenge?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is headed for trouble now that he’s caught up in such a dangerous situation.
Jason knows what he’s getting himself into, but he has no intention of standing by and letting Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) remain trapped.
Britt is desperate to break free from the hold Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) have on her.
Jason knows that in order for that to happen, they have to acquire a dose of Britt’s medication and go through the reverse-engineering process.
However, Jason knows way too much about Sidwell, Cullum and their whole operation thanks to Britt. It’s clear that there’s going to be a target on Jason’s back now that Britt’s leaked all this information.
Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) has been working on stealing a medication vial for Britt, but we’ll see where that plan goes from here. Even if Britt’s medicine grab pays off and she scores her freedom, Cullum and Sidwell could retaliate against her by going after Jason.
Sidwell and Cullum could also go after Britt herself, which might force Jason to step up to protect her with tragic consequences.
Regardless, GH viewers know Jason has been getting his will in order and has even been trying to nail down a guardian for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) in case something happens to him.
That seems like exactly the kind of thing the writers would have Jason do if they were preparing another presumed death storyline. Since Jason’s exit is on the way in the coming weeks, his attempt to free Britt could seemingly end with fatal news.
Of course, Steve Burton has repeatedly told fans that he’s returning to the show in the summer. If that return pans out, then the writers may have an opportunity to reveal that Jason’s alive down the road and kick off another phase of the story.
Nevertheless, Jason may be believed to be dead in the meantime. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) always takes the loss hard when Jason “dies,” so she may play the blame game as she struggles to cope.
In addition to blaming Cullum and Sidwell, Carly may hold Britt herself responsible for putting Jason in the line of fire. It’s easy to imagine Carly ripping into Britt and promising that she’s going to pay for this.
