Holy [Bleep]! General Hospital Just Revealed the Truth About Nathan and We’re Reeling!

With all the bombshells and twists and turns General Hospital has been throwing at us lately, we were not expecting the Nathan reveal would be coming our way any time soon. So we were completely blindsided when, at the end of Tuesday’s episode, Sidwell told us exactly who Nathan is! And he’s not Maxie’s husband!

Earlier in the episode, Nathan got a mysterious text summoning him, it turns out, to Sidwell’s side at Wyndemere. The mourning villain is, understandably, fixated on his son’s death. And while Jordan promised to keep Sidwell apprised of how Marco’s murder investigation is going with the Port Charles PD, Jenz told “Nathan” he was to make sure Sonny paid for the killing by any means necessary. (Even though Sonny had nothing to do with it!)

“Nathan” pointed out that that’s not something “I” would do and, as Sidwell closed the door, he acknowledged that Nathan wouldn’t. But he’s not telling Nathan to. He’s telling Cassius Faison to get revenge. Jaw. Floor.

That, unfortunately, was the end of the episode, so we didn’t get to learn who Cassius was, but we’re pretty sure we can guess. Britt dropped the first part of this bombshell a few episodes back when she mentioned Faison had four children. Not three. And at the time, we speculated that that could mean that Nathan was a twin. And if this person walking around isn’t Nathan, then our guess is he’s his twin, Cassius Faison.

There’s still a lot left to find out, though. Who raised him? Is he really a twin or did Sidwell and Cullum give him plastic surgery to look like Nathan? (Or we supposed they could break out the masks again.) Is he even fully aware of what he’s doing? The whole interaction seemed… off. And Cassius even seemed a bit confused.

And with those final words, “I’m not talking to Nathan West right now. I’m talking to Cassius Faison,” it felt almost like Sidwell was activating this other part of “Nathan.” If that’s the case, we suppose there’s still a chance this could be another mind or personality planted on top of Nathan and we might, someday, still get him back.

But after Britt’s reveal of a fourth sibling, that’s looking less and less likely. Nathan, we may have to accept, could truly be dead and gone forever.
