Kristen Will Stop At Nothing to Hurt… Marlena?? And EJ Prepares for Stefano’s Will Reading

Wednesday, April 1, 2026: Today on Days of Our Lives, Kristen corners Sophia, EJ arranges his father’s will reading and Xander makes shady plans for Titan.

Brady invites Tate and Holly over to warn them about Sophia. They aren’t surprised and tell Brady how they hit upon that same theory. They compare notes, figuring out how Sophia pulled this off and how long it’s been going on. Tate states the obvious: “She needs to go down for this!” They’ll gather all the evidence they need to back up a ten-year old girl in a psychiatric facility.

What Will Kristen Do to Sophia?

Sophia tries getting a job back at the Pub, and Roman gives her “five seconds to get the hell out.” She rushes out, only to run into a delighted Kristen. Well, fake delighted. Sophia is a deer in the headlights. “I have been on to you from the chomp,” Kristen purrs.

Sophia begs Kristen not to hurt her, but Kristen would never dream of it! (Shocking.) She’s a teen, after all. Instead, she wants to hurt Dr. Evans for sending Rachel back to Bayview. Just as she tells Sophia they can help each other, Tate and Holly walk by and Kristen runs off.

Can Xander and Sarah Play Nice?

Xander and Sarah are finally taking Victoria home. He’s clawing at the walls to get out of there, not because he hates Sarah, but because it’s too hard to be around her. He claims she can’t resist him, they get back to bickering, but Victoria interrupts them long enough to move onto the revised custody agreement.

So long as Xander promises to not let Gwen anywhere near Victoria, it’s going through, Sarah promises. Then the two fight over Gwen and Brady and who’s doing what with whom and Xander smirks to hear that Sarah and Brady aren’t official.

The party’s over when Kate texts Xander the Johnny news and Sarah finds out there’s business trouble. She sends him off so her mom doesn’t lose her house. Brady drops in once he’s gone to check on Victoria and fill Sarah in on the latest Sophia drama. He’s heartbroken at how sad Rachel is to learn one of her only friends was just using her.

The good news is, Rachel’s doctors say she’s doing amazing and should be home soon! And so should Sarah, as Brady volunteers to take mom and daughter home!

What Really Happened to Vivian?

EJ wants an update on Dimitri, but Gwen doesn’t know more than EJ — since he’s the one who killed Vivian! But EJ claims Vivian was dead when his assassin got there. (Well, Kate was right. Vivian got ahead of it.)

EJ thinks Dimitri actually did kill her, but either way, he’s in prison. For now, Theo will be visiting soon (to get an eyeful of his mom), so Gwen and her boytoy had better make themselves scarce.

Can Cat Make Mark Talk?

Cat’s invited Mark for breakfast in the square, but she just wants to know what’s going on in the lab. Mark sticks to his NDA and says, for the record, she owes him for covering for her. He saw her on the security cam letting Kayla in but erased the footage.

Mark promises he’ll always have her back, then rushes off when EJ shows up and takes his place at the table. Cat tries digging for info by claiming she’s worried about Mark keeping his job, but EJ’s smooth as ever. Everything is just hunky dory.

In the Show’s Final Moments

Sophia acts all innocent as Tate and Holly call her out. She tries gaslighting an increasingly irate Holly, “I’m sorry to break it to you, but the whole world doesn’t revolve around you,” until Tate drags his girlfriend into the pub.

EJ wants Cat to arrange a discreet gathering for the “absurd” reading of his father’s will. He doubts his siblings will behave, and he’s sure Cat can handle whatever’s thrown her way. It’s a favor, not a requirement, but she’ll do it.

Xander calls someone for an all hands on deck, then rushes to Gwen’s bedroom and strips down. That seems helpful for Titan… They wrap up after one scene (but both seem satisfied, so good for them), and Gwen heads down to the kitchen for some nourishment. Once she’s gone, Xander gets his callback: “I need you to move $5,000,000 to the legit side of Titan’s business.” Interesting…
