Will Patty’s Return Also Bring Back Y&R’s Paul?

Patty’s return has certainly shaken up The Young and the Restless. With Patty becoming involved in Victor and Jack’s latest war, the villain is causing trouble for all of Genoa City. But there’s one person who might stop Patty, and that’s her brother, Paul.

Williams Siblings Reunite?

Patty (Stacy Haiduk) is one of Y&R’s famous villains, who’s been wreaking havoc off and on for over four decades. Most of Patty’s crimes are centered on her ex-husband Jack (Peter Bergman), who many feel is responsible for her villain arc.

Patty used to be a good girl who thought she found her Prince Charming when she married Jack. Unfortunately, Jack’s affair with Diane (Susan Walters) and Patty’s miscarriage sent her on a downward spiral.

Although Patty sought help for her mental issues, she often resorted back to her bad girl ways. Throughout the years, she’s caused much pain and suffering to The Abbotts and The Newmans.

While everyone looked down at Patty, her brother Paul (Doug Davidson) always had her back. As her protective brother, Paul was always looking after Patty, especially when someone tried to take advantage of her.

With Patty back and a pawn in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) war against Jack, fans on Reddit believe Paul should return. “They just have to bring Paul back, even a recast. It makes no sense he would not come back to support his sister,” the original poster wrote.

“I believe he is crucial to this storyline. He always fought for Patty,” one viewer replied. “I’d love to see him back, but I don’t think Patty will be around long unfortunately,” another fan wrote.
