He’s trying hard not to succumb to a dependency on Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) Fentanyl pills. But it seems like he’s losing this fight. Can he pull himself together? Because his brother might need him sooner rather than later.

The Chancellor Park Cafe must have heavy-duty outdoor heaters because everybody seems comfortable sitting outside in the winter temps. On Monday, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will talk. But the key conversation happening may be the one between Daniel and Mariah.

According to the weekly teasers, Daniel makes a sacrifice to help Mariah (Camryn Grimes), who continues to struggle. She’s facing prison or another stint in a psychiatric facility after kidnapping Dom (Ethan Ray Clark). This sacrifice could involve Daniel ending his romantic relationship with Tessa. That way, Tessa can fully be there for Mariah as she goes through this tough time.

In Y&R’s weekly video preview, Christine (Lauralee Bell) tells Sharon (Sharon Case) that she needs her help with Mariah. In addition to Mariah’s conversation with Daniel, she’ll also take part in a strategy session with her lawyer and her mom.

Finally, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) questions Billy’s intentions, which is fair. His recent deal with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) gave him control of Chancellor and Newman Media. He has since lost Chancellor. Newman Media is now in Sally’s capable hands, as she runs the company formerly known as Abbott Communications.
