Nick says they haven’t found Matt yet, but they’ve “planted the seeds.” When Noah inquires what that means, Nick replies that Adam made “the appropriate connection.” While Nick’s confident they’re inching closer to finding Matt, his brother hits a roadblock with their plan.
Unwelcome Surprise
Elsewhere, Adam arrives at Riza’s hotel room to find his former pal pointing a gun at him. Adam jokes that’s not the warm welcome he was expecting, but Riza isn’t in the mood for his games.
With Riza angry and trigger happy, Adam needs to proceed with caution during their meeting. Riza is their only hope in finding Matt, and Adam has to get back on her good side.
Given that Adam and Riza were hustlers back in the day, Adam might use a few tricks to get Riza to let down her guard. But with Riza now in cahoots with Matt, the two could end up pulling a fast one on Adam. Adam knew there were risks coming back to Vegas, and he’s already finding himself in danger.
